Before equipment is selected
Turn the property needs into a workable entrance plan.
A gate project starts with what the entrance must accomplish: privacy, vehicle control, commercial security, convenient residential access, traffic management, or protection for a restricted area.
The physical opening then sets the boundaries. Width, slope, swing clearance, slide run-back, vehicle approach, power, drainage, snow storage, existing fencing, and pedestrian movement can eliminate options that looked good in a catalog. Solving those constraints early keeps fabrication, automation, access control, and safety equipment pointed in the same direction.

Site conversation
We start with what you need to secure, who needs access, what problems the entrance needs to solve, and whether the project involves a new gate, existing equipment, repair, or a larger perimeter.
Property review
Driveway width, slope, power, traffic, gate movement, adjacent fencing, pedestrian routes, drainage, and safety-device locations are considered before equipment or fabrication decisions are finalized.
System recommendation
The gate type, operator duty, controls, credentials, detection, and safety devices are matched to the site. Alternatives should be compared by function and long-term ownership, not brand name alone.
Installation planning
Posts, foundations, equipment placement, conduit, wiring, access hardware, vehicle-detection areas, and construction sequence are planned so separate trades and system parts do not work against each other.
Install and test
The system is installed, adjusted, and tested through normal entry, exit, safety, and access scenarios. Gate travel should be clean before the operator is expected to compensate for mechanical problems.
Service support
Gates are mechanical systems exposed to traffic and weather. Inspection, cleaning, hardware attention, safety checks, and timely diagnosis help prevent wear or site conditions from becoming a shutdown.
